NETAC is a voluntary, cooperative association of local governments and industries, within the 5 county area that was formed to fill the need of a more organized and comprehensive approach to improving air quality based on regional needs. 

Technical Advisory Committee

The NETAC Technical Committee is made up of local industries environmental groups who work together to avoid non-attainment designation under the 1-hour and 8 hour ozone standard set by TCEQ. The review reports and give input in how best to stay in attainment both now and in the future.

Policy Committee

The NETAC Policy Committee is made of local elected officials and some local industries. The committee takes action upon the recommendations of the technical committee.
